Tablesettings & More Rentals Policies
Rental Time Period & Security Deposits
All rentals are based on 24 hours. If rental products are not returned by the due date and time, then additional day rentals will be charged unless previously arranged and agreed upon by Tablesettings & More Rentals. These arrangements will be and must be in writing prior to delivery or pick up of rental products. All rentals require a security deposit, which totals the amount of the rental. All rentals must be paid for in full prior to delivery or if customer is picking up. Unused rental products will not be credited.
Reservations – Security Deposits – Balances
A 50% deposit is required at time of reservation to hold the rental products. If a deposit has not been received by Tablesettings & More Rentals then your products will not be reserved for you. Prices may change without notice, unless a 50% deposit is received and a contract is signed.
A 50% deposit is required at time of reservation unless an Event Industry Account has been established. Orders must be paid in full 24 hours prior to pickup or delivery. All reservations require a credit card on file. Security deposits are required in the total amount of the rentals. The security deposits will be returned within 7 business days, less any damages or missing items. All final counts and inspections of products will be made by Tablesettings & More Rentals and accepted as final.
Taxes
GST & PST will be charged to all invoices. If you are an Event Industry Professional then you may complete and submit a Purchase Exemption Form.
Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable. If order must be cancelled then a 30day notice must be given in writing. Less than a 30day notice will result in balance due in full and payable upon the event date.
Cleaning
All equipment and rental products are clean and ready to use upon pickup or delivery. All rentals (except linens) are to be scraped free of food and placed back into the original containers provided by Tablesettings & More Rentals. Linens are to bundled and free of food debris and placed and bundled as instructed at time of delivery or pickup. Wet linens are to be air dried and not placed with the dry linens. All ties/sashes are to be untied/unknotted or additional charges of $1.00 per tie/knot will be charged to customer.
Badly stained items will charged out as damaged products.
Damage
Check your order for any missing or damaged items and inform the delivery person/office immediately prior to using. Customers are responsible for all missing or damaged rental products including the containers provided. Rental products returned chipped, cracked, broken, scratched, missing items or parts as well as badly stained will be charged at replacement cost and a replacement fee. Linens damaged, wax residue or burned and/or stained will be charged at replacement cost as well as a replacement fee.
Delivery & Pickup
Standard delivery charge or pick up charge of $60.00 within Essex County. Beyond Essex County a service charge will be applied according to mileage and time from Tablesettings & More location to delivery and pickup location. Call our office for further information. Deliveries and pick up of rental items will be in the same location unless previously arranged. Additional charges may apply if further in distance. Deliveries and pickup of rental products will be made to curbside. Elevators, stairs and areas not considered as curbside delivery (distance from curb), will incur additional charges.
Additional Charges
Set Up of Rental Products or Delivery of Rentals beyond curbside will incur additional charges. Stairs, Elevators, uneven grade, location of drop off beyond curb, taking into restaurant, hall, kitchen, home, setting the dishes on the table per guest, setting props in place, placement of linens, chair covers, hanging chandeliers, etc) will incur additional fees also. Excessive cleaning or dishes not free of food debris/scraped will be charged cleaning charges. There will be additional charges for these services and for anything considered beyond curbside delivery. These services can be arranged for a fee, but must be made prior to deliveries.
All rental items must be placed in the original packing containers that Tablesettings & More Rentals provide. If these items are not placed and ready for pickup when Tablesettings & More Rentals arrive then additional charges while delivery person waiting. If Tablesettings & More Rentals have to pack the products there will be an additional charge for the customer.
